The Hotel Pontios is located in Skala Potamia, one of the loveliest beach resorts, in the superbly beautiful and green island of Thassos, in the North-east Aegean Sea – an island which offers stunning mountains and clear blue seas. We are only 130 metres, a gentle stroll from the sea. Our hotel buildings are all from natural stone, and in symphony with the natural landscape. The complex comprises: the main hotel buildings, bedrooms, restaurant and bar/coffee bar. It offers to residents and visitors all the facilities and comforts that they could wish for. The hotel offers 22 bedrooms, single double and two roomed apartments. The main hotel block has a breakfast room, bar and an elegant lounge with a stone open fireplace. You will also find a traditional restaurant offering you a choice of local dishes, mezes and specialties to suit every taste.

The spacious bedrooms are comfortably furnished with all the extras to make your stay extra special. Each room has its own individually controlled air conditioning, direct dial telephone, television, electric hairdryer, safety deposit box, refrigerator as well as room service if required! The apartments have a separate kitchen area suitable for the preparation of light breakfasts and snacks.

We offer a lovely room which is available to you for that special occasion. Our room number 211. It is a honeymoon suite (or for a second honey moon!), in its own private location, with a double bedroom, separate lounge with its own stone open fire and private outlook.

Our hotel has its own locally renowned taverna, also called the Pontios. The best taverna in the area! You will be offered a range of local Greek dishes as well as a wide range of specialties from all regions of Europe and the world.
